Homemade Pumpkin Bread - Perfect for the 1st day of Fall

Today my parents said I could go to my friend’s house after school, well actually after my after-school program.  My mom and her mom have known each other since High School, so our family’s are pretty close.

When it was time for me to go home my friend’s mom, GiGi, handed me a yummy smelling loaf of bread and said, “give this to your mom - tell her Jenkins made it.”  My mom was very happy when I gave it to her.
